High School Music

High school music. What do you think of when you hear the phrase, High school music? Do you think of the music that you loved and listened to when you were in High School when you hear High School music? Or when you hear High School music, do you think of the music that you made when you were in High School? Maybe you think of the music that is loved and listened to by your kids who are currently in High School when you hear the words, High School music. Maybe when you hear the phrase High School music, you think of all the different types of music being made by kids who are in High School. Or maybe, just maybe, when you hear the words, High School music, you don't think of anything at all...Obviously, the term High School music can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. What High School music means, largely depends on the individual.

If High School music to you mans the music that you loved and listened to when you were in high school, then as long as you went to high school after recorded music was invented, then you can seek and find your High School music. Unless you were unusually slow, you high school years generally would have spanned some four or five years. Sometimes that would mean part of the time in one decade and part of the time in another and that can make a huge difference to what the current music was during your high school years.

It is quite easy these days to find collections of dated music that will be aligned with the years of your own High School music. Even if the manufacturers and marketers weren't thinking about High School music when they organized the compilations by decades, this system is certainly well suited for acquiring your appropriate High School music.

One of the best things about High School music is the emotions that it evokes when you hear it and it reminds you of your youth. High School music may also coincide with major historical events in the world and this adds another dimension to the significance that certain music during your high school years plays in your life. for instance, if you were in high school in the early/mid sixties, then the Beatles' music was important and you might associate that music with the assassination of JFK. or if you were in high school in the early 70's and then there was a lot of music that focused on Vietnam and the conflict/war that was going on at that time so your High School music can be very stirring to you. So don't make the mistake of thinking High School music is just meaningless music because it can be some of the most important music of your life.
