Music is a very broad and interesting topic. People are very interested in music. People spend a lot of time listening to music. some people enjoy making music. Many people enjoy singing to music. There is music all around us everyday. There are many types of music. And there are many styles of music. some people enjoy all types and styles of music. some people only like on kind of music. but whether you like only one kind of music or all kinds of music really doesn't matter as there is room for all tastes in the world of music.

There are many types of music. There is choral music, where music is made by human voices singing. There is instrumental music where music is made by people playing music on musical instruments and drums. There is electronic music where sounds are created and manipulated by electronics and music is made. And there is music that is a mix of all kinds, where people sing and musical instruments are played and electronic sounds are turned into music. And there is a kind of music that is made up of the sounds from nature. A cacophony created by insects, birds, animals, wind and water.

There are many, many styles of music. There is classical music and there is rock and roll music. There is pop, hip hop and rap music and there is jazz music. There is the blues and rhythm and blues music. There is music from many different countries like Africa, Australia, Spain and Hungary, but there is also regional music that varies, but is similar like Latin music and Caribbean music. There is country and country and Western music and there is Cajun music. There is tech-no music and new age music. There is religious music and secular music. There is music for every occasion and music that is unique to almost every era in history.

There is marching music and dancing music. There is music to dine by and music to work to. Music is used in meditation, therapy, child's play and exercise. There is music to sing to and music to ride in elevators to. There is music to create and enhance just about every human activity and emotion. Movies and TV shows wouldn't have anywhere near the power to move us that they do without music.

There are many ways to get and hear music. You can go to a live concert performance to hear music. You can listen to the radio to hear music in your car or at work or at home. You can go to the movies and hear music. You can watch television and hear music. You can go on the internet and listen to music. You can buy pre-recorded music at the store and play it on your home or portable music stereos and portable players. There is almost never a time or place that you can't be listening to music if you want to.
