Film on DVD


There was a time when if you wanted to see a film you had to go to the movie theatre. There really was no place else to see a film. Then some time later, you could catch a film on television. Maybe an old black and white film, but the theatre was no longer the only place to see a film. Eventually, you could watch a film on a movie channel on cable TV or rent a film on video tape at the rental store or even buy your own videos for home use. Now, you can still do all of these things, plus rent or buy a film  on DVD.

Being able to get a film on DVD has a lot of advantages. A DVD can hold a lot of information so now you not only get the film on DVD, but you get all sorts of special features. Along with the film on DVD, you get interviews with the filmmakers and the starts. You also get a lot of other stuff like movie trailers and sometimes out-takes which are very funny. And sometimes they include interactive things like games on the DVD.

One of the great things about there being so much storage space on the DVD is that you not only get the film on  DVD, but you get a lot of other options too. With film on DVD, you get your choice of three or four different languages to watch it in. With the film on DVD, you even get subtitles if you want so you can read the dialogue if your hearing is impaired. With the film on DVD, you can even manipulate the film to suit you. With film on DVD, you can zoom in and watch on small part of a scene. With film on DVD, you can watch the same scene over and over again if you want to.

With film on DVD, you can pause it anytime you want and then pick it right back up where you stopped it. With film on DVD, you can run it in fast forward at speeds from two times normal up to thirty two times the normal speed. With film on DVD, you can do the same thing in reverse. With film on DVD, you can skip around the film and watch hit in any order you choose. With film on DVD, you can select only certain scenes from a menu of scenes to view. In effect, with film on DVD, you can become the editor of the film . You can change the sequence of things and even delete whole scenes. Watching a film on DVD can be a very empowering experience.
