Feature Films are a big business. Feature Films cost an astronomical amount of money to produce, but Feature Films can also make an astronomical amount of money for the studios producing Feature Films. Feature Films, since they cost so much to make are a very risky proposition. Feature Films, since they are so expensive to make can lose a studio an awful lot of money if they are a flop with audiences. So these days studios do not undertake producing Feature Films lightly and they usually produce Feature Films with other partners in order to share the risk of producing costly Feature Films.

It was once shocking for a Feature Films to cost over one million dollars to produce. But as time progressed, Feature Films became costlier and costlier. Feature Films costing twenty million dollars to produce were shocking. Then Feature Films costing over forty million dollars were a shock. but now, Feature Films can cost over one hundred million dollars to produce. Where will it end for Feature Films? How can a studio make enough on a Feature Films to make it worth producing these hugely expensive Feature Films?

Well, the world wide hunger for Feature Films is growing all the time. And the number of screens showing Feature Films is growing all the time. And with the number of people willing to pay more and more to see Feature Films all the time, the studios are still able to produce Feature Films and make a lot of money. If a Feature Films is good and or popular, it can make tens of millions of dollars in its first day of showing. Feature Films that are popular can now make one hundred million dollars in ticket sales in their first few weeks in theaters, just in the United States alone.

Then there is the European release of the Feature Films and then there is the world wide release of the Feature Films where it will make even more money. And theatrical release isn't the end anymore for the Feature Films because after theatrical release for the Feature Films, there is the home video release of the Feature Films through video stores and online video rental services where the Feature Films will rack up more sales. Then there is the movie channel release of the Feature Films where it will make even more money. And then eventually, the Feature Films will be put up for sale to the home view where it will make even more money.
