War and Peace
War and Peace, it's a book. War and Peace, it's a movie. War and Peace, its a topic that is on everyone's minds these days. Is it inevitable that War and Peace go together? Can we have peace without war? Will there always be cycles in the world of War and Peace? Will some parts of the world always be lurching back and forth between War and Peace? It sure seems that way. Maybe we need to talk more about War and Peace. We need to discuss War and Peace, not just peace. We need to discuss War and Peace and not just leave discussions of war to the military. If we always talk about peace by itself, it doesn't have the same impact as when we talk about War and Peace.
War and Peace are the two heads of the same coin. And if you view it that way, then you can see that those who wage war can also then wage peace. If War and Peace go together then those who wage ware, have in them and their actions the seeds of peace. Peace should not be left up to others. Peace must come about through the war makers. So War and Peace should be spoken about together. If War and Peace are always linked, then maybe at some point the war makers will get it into their heads to be peace makers instead.
War and Peace should also be talked about together so that we do not get complacent. We must remember that if we have peace, we must work to preserve it because wear can be close behind. If War and Peace are always mentioned together then we will understand that peace is a fragile thing and if we let it get destroyed through our carelessness, then war is the natural result. War and Peace should be on the lips of everyone who wants to preserve the peace.
We must come to understand that increasing cycles of War and Peace mean that we are not doing enough to ensure a just world. If we are always careening back and forth between War and Peace then it is obvious that we need to do more work on the fundamentals of our society. If our society is just and people have a chance to share the world equally, then the cycles of War and Peace will slow down. the cycles of War and Peace may never totally disappear, but the periods of peace will be longer and the periods of war will be shorter. War and Peace might always be with us, but maybe it will be War and Peace that we can live with.
